What is Junior Team Canada?
Junior Team Canada is a program to help Canadian companies identify trade and development opportunities in over 17 countries. This year will focus on identifying business opportunities and gathering market intelligence in Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore. As the name suggests, Junior Team Canada consists of 28 talented Youth Ambassadors selected from across Canada and provides youth with the skills, experience, and knowledge to be tomorrow’s leaders.

Who is Jennifer?
I am in my 3rd year in International Business focusing on marketing and trade in Countries such as Vietnam and Malaysia. As an International Business student, I like to be “in the know” about what is going on in the business world. For this reason, I am currently a part-time research intern with Canadian Council on Africa. My role involves work on the Business Development Services that bring Canadian and African companies and associations in contact with each other. From my experience, this is a project that is invaluable to both parties. I also maintain a full-time summer job with Carleton University as a Marketing Associate which has given me a great opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge I’ve been developing while in the classroom.
